About This Book
Here's the book you've been waiting to have at your fingertips! For each of the Lifelong Guidelines and LIFESKILLS, you get the description, why to practice it, how to practice it, what it looks like in the real world, what it looks like in school, inquiries to develop, signs of success, and links to related literature to use with students grades K-12. Includes the newest LIFESKILL Creativity.
Tools for Citizenship & Life is a wonderfully easy-to-use resource for teachers. It is quite user-friendly with definitions, rationales, suggested activities and literature connections. It is all there in a format that correlates with setting up inquiries and lesson plans.
This book is helpful for any teacher of any grade including high school students, whether using Integrated Thematic Instruction or other classroom organization. It is quite possible to just pick this book up and start using it wherever you teach, whatever subject and any age or ability level.
We could all use a reminder or two of these lifelong guidelines and lifeskills.
