About the Authors
Anne Conzemius:

Anne Conzemius brings a broad range of experience to her practice. Prior to establishing QLD Learning with her partner, Jan O'Neill, Anne served as assistant state superintendent for Wisconsin ls Department of Public Instruction. From 1988 to 1990, she served as director of employee development and training for the state of Wisconsin. She worked in public schools for 8 years as a school psychologist She later consulted in the private sector, bringing continuous improvement principles and methods to a variety of businesses and industries. Her work has been published in local, state, and national educational newsletters and journals. In addition to The Power of SMART Goals, Anne is coauthor with Jan O'Neill of The Handbookfor /:JMART School Teams (Solution Tree [formerly National Educational Service], 2002) and Building Shared Responsibility for Student Learning (ASCD, 2001 ). Anne holds two master's degrees from the University of WisconsinMadison, one in educational psychology and one in industrial relations.
Terry Morganti-Fisher:

Terry Morganti-Fisher is a senior consultant for the Learning Forward. Terry leads districts and schools in becoming authentic professional learning organizations by strategically focusing their efforts that lead to results. She assists school-based teams to actualize their professional learning communities. She is highly skilled at program development, implementation, leadership development and facilitating virtual learning communities. She led the development of comprehensive professional development plans for major urban school districts & as facilitator for the Learning School Alliance. Terry has served as Director of Professional Development in the Austin (Texas) Independent School District where she successfully led the development of a Comprehensive Professional Development Program that included several national models. She is the coauthor of More Than A SMART Goal: Staying Focused on Student Learning. Terry is a former president of Learning Forward Texas.
